From what I've seen of your pics SC I don't see how you can be mistaken for a boy. O.o I guess it's the short hair and glasses that did it for me. T.T

Back in my "feeling emo days" (xD!!!!) I used to wear hooded sweatshirts and my long hair would be under them... plus, the sweatshirts were baggy so you couldn't see the chest area... *cough* But yeah... plus I wore baggy pants... a la boy.

I guess I can't really give any feedback on this, I've never had such problems. I even had very long hair at a time, about halfway down my back.

but then, 6 feet with a beard and doing martial arts kinda helps

and for guys trying a pass, doesn't happen here, I apparently give off a subconcious vibe that keeps people at a distance, it doesn't help me much seeing as guys aren't the only ones affected by it.

LOL, that's hilarious. If I ever see that anime I'll have a very different perception of it than the average passerbyer. Imitating a guy's voice is only good when on the phone or some other communications device. Never do it in public!

I used to be mistaken for a girl all the time <.< Long hair and such, normal boys don't have long hair and with my face I could've been a girl back then. Though if someone would do that now <.< With my mustache growing, heavy voice and my manly clothes (XD). I'd have to state that they are insane. It's funny though that my father had a mustache at a very young age and he was still mistaken for a girl XD (He had a mustache when he was 11)
People can be really stupid at times, but I think we allknew that :p

Just love being all tall and that - and when I'm around people, a 6 feet guy with long hair, a bit grim and all dressed in black (no I'm not a goth, punker or any of that sort) gives a sort of impression I want; "Never mind me - I'm just gonna kill you if you look at me."

I've never been mistaken for a guy, but I have been mistaken for an eight year old...My voice is high pitched and happy so...yeah...    

I guess it also doesn't help that I'm still obsessed with kiddy things such as Candyland and Beauty and the Beast(dress below).

And this statement people, closely examined, states that he "first" looks into their eyes, then lowers his gaze :P (he never stated that he doesn't look ;) )
But yeah, I find it hard to make that kind of mistake. Never mistaken anyone really, except in an anime. Supposed to be a guy, but the voice is done by a girl and it shows -_-

Well not looking down is a bit too hard, not looking first is doable but to avert your eyes every time. Nah that goes against nature.

It's not that hard to separate girls from guys in anime really unless they're kids.. -.- or if they were meant to look like girls (think Rurouni Kenshin's Kamatari)
