Limp Bizkit is truely a terrifyingly awful experience, half of it is the seizure inducing downtuning of the instruments, the other half is Fred Durst with his hat backwards.

As for the Motorhead cover, I saw that on the Total Guitar DVD, funny, I guess.

there music was alright, although everyone tried to steal that style of singing, and that generation got old fast.

It was never fresh. Fred Durst was white. He couldn't rap. It was game over from the start. xD Not to mention that they aren't even that good of a mass-produced corperate band anyhow.

I guess Rapcore(Rap Metal or Nu Metal) is an acquired taste. I still stand by Limp Bizkit as I always have, and I think that they are an awsome testiment to mixing together Rap and Metal.

Regardless though, the entire point is funny. "EVERYONE" can try to rap. Not everyone can succeed.

Now going through the history of rap, it started as a: "genre of African-American music of the 1980s and 1990s in which rhyming lyrics are chanted to a musical accompaniment; several forms of rap have emerged"

So it's not difficult to come to the conclusion that not everyone can rap. Especially considering how many people really can't. Now if you were to use the term "anybody", well, that'd still be untrue since it's not hard to find someone who can't rap.

For the Rapcre thing, there are some really good rapcore bands (not that anyone here would like them, it seems), like Rage Against the Machine.  Although i dont think they really classified themselves as rapcore, you could tell by the fact that, you know, he rapped o.O i KNOW OMG.  Anyway, they were really big, an i think they are awesome, and then theres KoRn, which is a little harder to see, but yet, still is, and A LOT of people like them.

I wasn't refering to how you typed what you wrote. I was refering to what you wrote when you typed. Writing "is" instead of "if" is obviously a typo, but writing "it don't" instead of "it doesn't" is what really inspired me to comment on your sentence. That would make it a grammatical problem rather than a typing problem, but it's in the past now ;)

Yes, I listen to tech metal or prog metal....Mostly Prog, I love how every thing is almost broken down into movements.

If you like Metal with some classical influences you'll love Blind Guardian, great german band.

I like Blind Guardian, as I like Iron Maiden, as I like Dream Theater.

Iron Madien is a really good band, i like metallica just as much

Iron Maiden is the shiznit, their bass player is the coolest thing since buttered toast.

Metallica writes songs that are more....Let me think of the right word......Well, I can't come up with it, but they write songs that are easier on the casual music listener. People who really enjoy Maiden typically are pretty big metal fans.

Errh, no 10 ton, I beg to differ, Maiden is also pretty standard fare (you know 'em and you're not a big metal fan).

Maiden does however completely ROCK OUT! Kickass band, though their new album will suck :-p

also, i listen to between the buried and me, not extremely hardcore, they have these breaks where they stop all the screaming and actually sing!  OMG  j/k

DragonForce, ... seen them live 4 or 5 times now, I have grown MORE than tired of them.

Sure they are funny and HELLUVA fast, but their new songs are just, well, plain boring through all the frills and frolics.

Valley of the Damned I can still enjoy, but anything from there is just mostly crap too me.

Valley Of The Damned has the cool acapella thing going on. The harmonized vocals are kind of cool too.

The guitar work is just 21st century Yngwie Malmsteen sped up 300 times, therefore, it gets old.
